GSP-Markus Naslund- & The Man With a Smile Always On His Face

My laptop has been dead for over a month and I finally got the right power cord last night to revive it =] Yaay! It was an almost great night last night, GSP beat down Koscheck (hate that lil shit talker) and Markus Naslunds jersey was retired in Vancouver, I was there to watch it and it was amazing. Great guy, and he totally deserved it. Canucks went on to lose the game in OT to the Boltz 4-5 though... 

I also came home to find out my best friend's, from childhood, dad passed away that night =[

My thoughts and prayers are with them at this sad time, even though I cant be there with them I want the "M" family to know if they need anything ever, to call me and I can do my best! Lots of love. Miss and love you all.

Bedroom Ideas- (Parisian theme)

I've been looking online for bedroom ideas, (Parisian themed), for so many months now but still want to get more and see what I can come up with. So far this is what I'm am going with.

I love the iron wrought bed frame, and the way the material flows like a bed canopy style! Instead of the mirror there I was thinking of getting the letter "B" and pinning it there.

This is the bed frame I want to get from Ikea, only $180. I want to get a white bed frame because it will be up against a red wall, and instead of a white lace coming down like in the above picture I was thinking a black lace, not sure yet we'll see which would look better.

I adore this vanity set up! I want to do white and black furniture depending what wall its going up against. Since I'm only making one wall red (the wall the bed is going up against) the other walls will be an off grey color, and I think white furniture will look odd against it so I was thinking in that case I would use black furniture.

I already have a table and 2 chairs similar to this design I want to put near the big bay window I have to give it that cafe Parisian look.

I got this kind of picture frame from Kohl's on sale 50% off for $20! 

I got these 2 trays and 2 boxes from Bowring on sale as well. I figured I got use the trays to stores little things on and just display the boxes on a shelf.

I found a cute black chandelier in Ikea for $60 and want that to hang in the middle of the room, it wont be the main light source because I have four other lights in each corner of the room in the ceiling as well but will be there for its elegant style.

This bedding is just spectacular! I love it to death!! $150 and you get 2 shams, bedskirt, and the queen comforter. 

These two pictures I have framed with white board behind them and in a black frame.

I haven't gotten this item yet! BUT I am on the look out for book ends. I have a ton of books and I just love to read so I might have to get more than just one pair. This particular one was cute tho.

Flashing Lights

Ahh I love the summer. 30+ weather sitting on the beach =] I hate being in school while this beautiful weather is happening though. Oh well atleast I get out at 1pm. The house is coming along nicely. I've decided on doing a Parisian theme for my room and have been slowing collecting new things for it. I wish I had more money tho... or a job. I might just get a job at HomeSense, Michaels, Winners, or Bed Bath and Beyond just for the discount lol. I love decorating!!!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

I haven't written in this blog in over a month but it sure doesn't feel like its been that long. Although I must admit, I have been watching more t.v and shopping on Ebay that I was previously. My new obsession... Entourage. I use to watch it here and there before but just 2 weeks ago I bought Seasons 1 -5 and I just finished watching it all. Now onto season 6 ! Love that show!!

Mothers Day / Dooms Day

Happy mothers day to my beautiful mother, who deserves nothing but the best not only on this day but everyday ! Love her with all my heart =]

On a sadder note... Canucks Blackhawks series is at 3-1 for the bad guys, game is in Chicago, and Canucks NEED to bring their A game =[ Please don't make this wonderfully awesome day a sad one.

Game 6

It's been awhile since I posted anything because well I guess I can say I've been swamped and busy but really, I have't had any "exciting" news to talk about, but tonight... wooweee. Game 6, Canucks leading the series 3-2 and can win it tonight in L.A and I sure hope we capitalize and do just that. 


Watched the Sens and Pens game last night and couldn't believe it. Up 3-0 in the 3rd and the Sens end up losing in OT.... wow.

Go Away!

I don't know why, but lately I just don't want to deal with anyone right now. Not my boyfriend, not my friends, not my family. I don't know if its because school is stressing me out or if I feel like a hideous monster... I wish I could have my own library, like off of beauty and the beast. Then I could just read all day long, not boring text books about amalgam fills, alginate impressions, or cavity decays but novels about love, friendship, family, and life.

We Are All Can--- err Sedins

Heck yes! Got a nice win against the Ducks tonight, after a sad loss to the Oilers =[ Luongo wasn't in net, but I hope this game off he had a nice rest and plays tough next game.

Excited for the weekend to come, last weekend went by way to quick. And this weekend I get to meet sexy number 3 Sedin =] Last weekend saw Mason Raymond ! On a roll!


School is pretty nuts, so busy busy, and another girl got kicked out of the program down to 8 now, from 12. Harsh.

Pooped

I know I should be excited for the weekend, but I have so much work to do, I'm not really looking forward to it =[ Altho I am going to take a break from it all tomorrow to go check out either Alex Burrows or Mason Raymond at Best Buy ;) Other than that I got too much stuff on my plate to be happy about it.


Last night I didn't get to sleep until well after 2am, and I was up at 6am... My presentation however, went super well (did it on the Canucks heheh), and I think it was the best one that was done. A week that was suppose to be easy so I could get all the work done so I would have the weekend free didn't really work out that way, now I have to do it all this weekend. 


Good thing Canucks only play tomorrow so I won't be distracted with weekend games =]

It gives me an exultant and lugubrious feeling at the same time. The songs I've been listening to lately really make me miss my friends from back home. Flem-E throat, stuffed nose, and wheezing through the night

I absolutely hate being sick! I hate the fact I cant breathe properly, I hate the way I keep sniffling even though my nose is stuffed up, and I hate the way I'm so damn tired but I cant fall asleep =[ Eff you cold, go away!! 

Today in class I was the "awkward sniffler"... Don't you hate those people. The ones who come to class sick, and you're trying to listen to the lecture but theres that one person, who keeps sniffling and wont go blow their nose. I just want to turn to the person and tell them "Please just go blow your nose and stop sniffing it back up cause it's just going to come back down your nose!" ... Yeap, I was that sniffler today and I hated every second. I had my Kleenex with me, but nothing was working. My nose was an open faucet!

Alice In Wonderland

Pretty excited to go see the movie even though I'm sick as a ... (Hmm how does the saying going?) Whatever... I'm sick =[ But that's not stopping me from going to go see Alice In Wonderland in 3D. 

Can you say... SEXIMILICIOUS?! Johnny Depp can have scissors for hands, be a dirty looking pirate and look like THIS and still steal my heart ღ


I hate to miss a Canucks game but I will be for my boy Johnny. Go Canucks Go!

Jonathan Toews

Tonight the game I've been waiting for is on! 


Vancouver Canucks vs. Chicago Blackhawks!!! I love love LOVE the Canucks, die hard fan, but theres something about the Blackhawks that I love (minus Dustin Byfuglien aka- byfugly!) 


I think its the fact that hottie Jonathan Towes is on the team ♥ He makes my heart skip a beat *sigh* Anyways, if anyone knows Jonathan Toews let him know a single good looking Canadian girl is willing to cook, clean and satisfy him ;) 

I predict Canucks with the win (4-3 in OT)

Infant & Toddler Dental Care

If any parents are reading this, please, I repeat, PLEASE, don't fall into the habit of giving your babies a bottle of milk or juice before bed. And if you do plan on doing so, at least rinse their mouths out after. You don't even want to know about all the nasty bacteria that can grow in their mouths.

Even baby Michael knows how to take care of his gums :)
I don't know why more and more kids these days get cavities at such a young age. I haven't had a cavity my whole life (not that I'm that old). Anyways, even if you don't have kids, take care of your pearly whites, and if there not white... book an appointment with your dentist and get some veneers or book an appointment for a good  old teeth whitening session :)
